Our Third-grade’s Maths Teaching & Research Activities Demonstrated in Jinniu District

   3月1日(星期一)下午，金牛区教研室在北站小学举办了一次全区三年级数学教师的教材培训会。会上，由我校三年级数学组五位老师展示了我校平时集体备课中的一次教研活动，着重就三年级下册教材中“乘法”一单元的内容编排和教学策略上的一些预设进行了探讨。大家围绕主题，踊跃发言，切磋教法、学法，并达成了共识。在整个约40分钟的过程中，现场安静，大家心情愉悦。浓厚的教研氛围得到了教研员曾辉老师的首肯及其他与会老师的赞同。曾辉老师表扬我校教师的教研方式好，研讨效果不错，他说：“在这样的教研氛围中青年教师会成长得很快，这样的氛围是学校整体教学质量的有力保障。”

On Monday afternoon (Mar.1st), the Teaching Research Section of Jinniu Education Bureau held a training session about tea-
ching materials in the Beizhan Primary School for all the third-grade teachers within the whole district.  At the session, 5 tea-
chers from the third grade of our school demonstrated one of the teaching & research activities of the routine collective lesson
preparation, laying stress on the discussion of the content arrangements and some presetting of the teaching strategies for the
unit of "Multiplication" in Volume VI for the third grade.  Teachers took the floor one after another around the theme, com-
pared notes on the teaching methods for the teachers and the learning methods for the students and achieved a common under-
standing.  During the whole process which lasted about 40 minutes, everyone in the theater was quiet and felt very happy.

The strong teaching & research atmosphere had received the approval of Mr Zeng Hui, the Maths Teaching Research Instruc-
tor of Jinniu District and the affirmation of all the other participant teachers.  Mr Zeng Hui praised our teachers for their good
way of teaching and research and its excellent result, saying, “Young and middle-aged teachers will promote their professional
development very quickly in such a teaching and research atmosphere, which is the strong guarantee for the overall quality of
teaching for schools.”
