A Collective Morning Gathering I Feel Proud as I am a Young Pioneer Held on Zhonghai Campus

    “十月十三日”是我们每个少先队员值得骄傲的日子。因为今年，我们少年先锋队组织也和祖国妈妈一样已整整走过了60年的光辉历程。为了让同学们在这个特殊的日子过得有意义，中海校区今天利用集体朝会，开展了“我自豪——我是少先队员”的主题活动，旨在让每个少先队员牢记自己肩负的责任。

October 13^th is a feather in the cap of each young pioneer’s, because up to this year, the Young Pioneers’ League has
already traversed a glorious history of 60 years just as our motherland.  During the collective morning gathering, Zhonghai
Campus held a themed event I Feel Proud as I am a Young Pioneer to let the students have a meaningful festival and
to remind every young pioneer of their responsibilities.

   活动中，我们组织了五、六年级的预备大队委竟选，每个同学都在讲演中阐明了自己竞选的指导思想。大家都表示：当大队委不是为了给自己脸上贴金，更不是增加在同学面前炫耀的资本，而是更多的做好一件件平凡的小事，从小树立服务意识。

During the event, we organized an election for the preparatory members of the Young Pioneers’ Brigade Committee
from the 5^th and 6^th Grades.  Each preparatory member set forth the guiding ideologies for the election and all of them
expressed that they would do their job well in the trivial matters and foster a sense of serving others since childhood.

大家真切的话语和激情的演讲感染了台下的全体师生。

                                          touched the whole school off the stage.

最后在《中国少年先锋队队歌》中结束了这次活动。

This event ended with the League Anthem of the Young Pioneers of China at last.
