CCTV English Talent Competition Held in the School

    9月17日，CCTV英语风采大赛希望英语GO GO GO四川赛区初赛在我校举行。我校约200名小选手参加了比赛。孩子们在初赛中或用流利的英语做自我介绍，或用英语歌曲和儿歌打动评委。评委们原计划在三个考室中每个考室设5个直接晋级奖，但他们很快发现，把5个晋级牌发给他们认为很出色的选手之后，后面还有更出色的，评委们一边调整方案，一边感叹：成外附小的孩子真是太不一样了！

On September 17^th, CCTV Outlook GO GO GO English Talent Competition Sichuan Preliminary Contest was held in our
school.  About 200 little contestants from the school participated in it.  In the preliminary contest, the kids from our school
touched the judges by making a self-introduction in fluent English, singing beautiful English songs or by saying rhythmic chants. The judges originally planned to give 5 kids direct promotion as an award in each of the 3 contest rooms, but they quickly
found that after they’d given the 5 promotion cards to those who they thought were very outstanding, there would appear
even better ones. Therefore, the judges had to readjust their plans, gasping in admiration, “The children from the Primary School Attached to Chengdu Foreign Languages School are really distinctive.”
